Community Development & Socioeconomic Initiatives -CDSEIs

As a community-based organization, SiHDZ operates at the nexus of Science, Technology, and Community-driven solutions for Sustainable Development.

We also define community development as a dynamic process in which members of a community come together to identify shared problems and collectively generate solutions.

This process begins with individual or small group initiatives, which then expand to include larger groups in the community. As the scope of these solutions grow, so too does the involvement of the Communities, ensuring that the solutions are homegrown, inclusive, and sustainable.

As SiHDZ, we understand that community development is an evolving journey. Our role is to create platforms, systems and opportunities that identify, promote and support local community socioeconomic ideas, initiatives, and innovations.

We empower communities to take ownership of their development process and actively contribute to solutions to the challenges they face.

It is not true that, local Communities lack ideas initiatives nor innovations that are solutions to their locally faced community challenges, such that until foreign ideas are imported, that's when solutions are found, NO!

Locals may lack financial or other forms of resources, including lacking knowledge on modernized methodologies/Models of implementation, But they definitely know both the challenge and the potential solution to the challenge including the alternative most times.

Therefore, our approach to Community Engagement and during Activity implementation, always considers Community Involvement from needs assessment, during planning, implementation and post; implementation activities.
